Samsung has officially opened the One UI 7.0 Beta Program for the Galaxy A55, making it the first mid-range Galaxy smartphone to gain early access to Android 15 and Samsung’s next-gen software. This marks a major milestone as beta programs have traditionally been limited to premium models like the Galaxy S and Z series.
Beta Program Launches in South Korea
The One UI 7.0 Beta Program is currently available in South Korea. Galaxy A55 users interested in trying out the beta can now enroll through the Samsung Members app. Once enrolled, users will receive the beta update over the air, bringing a refreshed UI design, performance improvements, and several new features aligned with Android 15.
To participate, users need to install the Samsung Members app, log in with the Samsung account linked to their Galaxy A55, and tap on the One UI 7.0 Beta Program banner visible on the app’s home screen. After successful enrollment, the update can be downloaded by navigating to:
Settings > Software update > Download and install
While the beta is currently limited to South Korea, Samsung is expected to roll it out to other key markets such as India, the UK, and the US in the near future. This expansion could happen over the next few days, following Samsung’s usual phased rollout strategy.
The update offers a great opportunity for Galaxy A55 users to experience new features and provide feedback that helps shape the final version of One UI 7.0 before its official release later this year.
